No other DOO song sounds like this. Musically we wanted to see if it was possible to build a song upon a bassline that never changes. We needed to build the dynamics around the drums, guitars, keyboards and vocals. When we saw that it would actually work we took up a second challenge, the lyrics were supposed to be just words without sentences. So there are no pointing fingers here and it's completely up to the listener to judge what the song is all about.
